Bac Ha Market is in Bac Ha District and belong to Lao Cai Province, 80km from Sapa town and over 1hour by car.Bac Ha is one of the biggest Market on Sapa and open on Sunday only.It’s not only the trading center but it’s also the place for couples, friends and relatives.At this market every thing on sales: Pig, dog, cat, houres… so it make this market hotter on Sunday.

Can Cau Market is a small, but very colourful market, set in the mountains near the Chinese border.
The Flower Hmong minority is the most common here, and their colourful dresses makes is a beautiful sight.

Detailed Itinerary:

The train arrives at about 6:00 am. Look for the “Asia Tour Advisor Logo & Your Name” sign when you exit the train station, as our guide will pick you up there. Take a morning drive through the clouds by car / van to Sapa, about 1.5 hours. When you arrive in Sapa you will be taken to a local restaurant for a morning shower, breakfast, a short rest and some last preparations before our inspiring trek.  After lunch, our guide takes you to visit two Black H’mong villages (Cat Cat Village) and a waterfall. There, you will have a chance to see the hydroelectric power station built by the French. After that, it’s back to Sa Pa for dinner. In the evening, you’re free to do as you wish. You can explore the town of Sa Pa.Overnight in hotel.

Back to Bac Ha for lunch

Detailed Itinerary:

Start early in the morning at 6am, driving to Can Cau market, which passing Bac Ha Town. The road between Bac Ha and Can Cau is hilly but very beautiful. The products at the market are interesting, and many different groups of ethic minority people represent make the market an unforgettable experience. Back to Bac Ha for lunch. Check-in at a hotel in Bac Ha. After a rest, trekking about 5 km of mountain path to Ban Pho Village - home of Flower H'Mong people, get in touch and witness their traditional life style, habit and customs.

After breakfast, take a car to Si Ma Cai Market - join in Si Ma Cai hill-tribe market and discover the daily life of Flower H'Mong, Red Dzao people. Back to Bac Ha Town, free time to visit Bac Ha Sunday Market before lunch time. Drive back to Lao Cai City. Dinner in Lao Cai and take a night train back to Hanoi.
